Intermezzo serves fresh-baked breakfast goods, light and healthy lunches and dinners, vegetarian and nonvegetarian fare, decadent dessert treats, and Krannert Blends coffee. On nonperformance weekdays, Intermezzo is open from 7:30am to 3:30pm; on performance weekdays, it's open from 7:30am until after performances; on weekends, it's open from 90 minutes before until after performances. 217/333-8412

New hours and new options at the Stage 5 bar
The Stage 5 bar in Krannert Center’s lobby will now open at 4pm most Thursday and Friday evenings to offer the community a crossroads for mingling, brainstorming, or just winding down the work week. The Stage 5 bar will stay open until 7pm on nonperformance evenings and until after performances on show nights.
In addition to a great selection of beverages, the Stage 5 bar now also features new cuisine selections that serve as light hors d’oeuvres for two or three people or as a full meal for one. Selections include a fruit and cheese sampler, gourmet hummus plate, sushi-maki plate, smoked salmon plate, antipasto plate, and tropical shrimp cocktail.
